Hana Lee

Born on July 26, 2001, in South Korea and started playing golf at the age of 8. Born in China, she spent her school years in South Korea before naturalizing. In 2019, she failed the professional test but gained an opportunity to take the QT (Qualifying Tournament) under special regulations. During the 2020-21 season, she earned the title of Step-Up Tour money leader. After a delayed 2020 JLPGA professional test, she passed the final test in 7th place in June 2021, obtaining her professional qualification. She dominated the Step-Up Tour money ranking, advancing from a single-year registration to a full member.

During her professional career, she aimed to emulate Mao Saigo and had the opportunity to be coached by Jumbo Ozaki. In May 2022, she began studying under Masashi Ozaki. That season, she made it into the Top 10 four times but did not win any tournaments. She finished tied for 4th in the season's final event, significantly improving her Mercedes Ranking and securing participation rights for the first half of the following year. In 2023, she started the final day of the Hisako Higuchi Ladies tied for 8th place, five shots behind. Scoring 67, she tied with Yuka Nii and Mimiyu Yamashita at 9 under, then won her first regular tour victory in a playoff with a birdie.
